Classmate fates
As of: Sept 2022

Many of us married classmates. Two, who were HS sweethearts, broke up then met again at the 25th reunion fell in love all over again and married (Bill Miller & Judy Smith). About 75 (15%) of the class were Jewish. This is based on the number of Jewish fraternity and sorority members divided by 3 (assuming 1/3 were seniors) plus another 10 or so that didn’t belong to a social group. In 1960, only 3% of all Americans were Jews. There were three black classmates (.04%), one Asian In 1960, 11% of all Americans were black. Notable classmates include:

Four police officers
Two fire-fighters
One went to prison
One suicide
One died in a plane crash
One world-class musician
Two authored WHS-set books
One 3-star General
Two professors
A number of lawyers
At least ten medical doctors
About two-dozen classmates are still missing
One hundred thirty-one known deceased classmates.
